Third Annual Baby Expo Scheduled for April 15th - 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Westwood, NJ – This year, Hackensack University Medical Center at Pascack Valley will hold its highly popular Baby Expo on April 15, 2017, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., rain or shine. Each spring, parents and potential parents flock to the event to meet Hackensack University Medical Group Pascack Valley OB/GYNs and tour the hospital’s family-friendly Maternity Center.   In addition, this year the hospital has added car seat checks conducted by specially trained members of the Hillsdale Police Department.


During the Baby Expo 2017 event, clinicians and pre-natal education experts from Mommy University will be on hand to answer questions about the Maternity Center and its capabilities. Many local vendors will also be present to help attendees learn about “everything that’s baby” in the Pascack Valley. Among the many businesses present will be Acelleron, BabyfitFOREVER, Baby Gaga Photography, Barnum Financial, BergenMama, Cord Blood Registry Macaroni Kid, Mamaste and The Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of NJ.  


“We’re thrilled to hold this popular event for the third consecutive year”, said Emily Holliman, CEO of Hackensack University Medical Center at Pascack Valley. “We feel good knowing that we are able to bring all these experts in mom and baby care together so parents and potential parents have access to the best information and care all in one place.”


The well-appointed Maternity Center at HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley features all private rooms with bath and a relaxing garden atrium for walking or meditation. The Maternity Center is staffed by experienced laborists, nurturing Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses, and lactation consultants. Many holistic options are available including birthing stools and balls, as well as a hydrotherapy tub and shower.
