HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley Awarded the NJBIA New Good Neighbor Award
The 55th Annual New Good Neighbor Awards competition, sponsored by NJBIA and its flagship publication, New Jersey Business magazine, recognizes companies that have worked to bring about an improved economy in New Jersey by building or renovating a commercial facility. HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley in Westwood was recently announced as the 2014 winner. The distinguished panel of judges represented a wide variety of statewide organizations that share an interest in New Jersey’s growth and development.
“It is a great honor to be the recipient of the NJBIA New Good Neighbor Award” said Chad Melton, CEO of HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley. “This is a true testament to all the people involved with getting the facility reopened. Opening HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley was a major fete for the people living and working within the Pascack and Northern Valley regions. Over 300 construction men and women worked tirelessly to complete the project on-time and within budget. The construction teams along with our hard working staff have worked diligently to bring healthcare home to the region and we look forward to serving the community for years to come.”
The panel of judges considered each nominee on the basis of economic benefit/job creation, architectural merit, and community involvements. In all, the nominees were responsible for $980 million in new investment, more than 9,900 jobs, and a commitment to the economic and civic well-being of New Jersey. Chad Melton will accept the award for HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley at an awards luncheon on June 6th. For more information on the NJBIA Good Neighbor award just click here.
